Time: Doors open at 5:30 pm with supper served at 6:00 pm
What to Bring: Please bring donations of garden produce, baking, canning and other items you would like to donate. Some examples are books, dishes, jewellery. The funds we raise will once again be donated to Canadian Lutheran World Relief.
Theme: “Celebrating the 80th Birthday of the founding of First Lutheran Church in 1939.” Some of us thought it would be fun to dress up in similar fashion to what the women wore to church in 1939. So check your “tickle trunks” for your white gloves, print dresses and flowered hats. :^)
Invitation is open to all the ladies (bring your daughters too) of First Lutheran Church and guests. Your Circle leader will contact you about what to bring for the supper. Come enjoy the amazing salads and desserts and fellowship!
Please speak to President Dee Collinge or any other member of LWML if you have any questions. According to Vera May’s records, we tied for the highest attendance in 1993 (Country & Western theme) and in 2001 (Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner) with 72 ladies attending. Let’s make the 80th Birthday Celebration a record attendance. Thanks be to God!
